Ah-haha-ho! That crazy Confusius, he fun guy. [sorry, I simply had to]. Well, heres to hoping it's one of those luminescent mushrooms, cuz then you'd have a free wall sconce worthy of a smurfhaus. I dread to imagine what's behind there. eek.
Oh my, well perhaps given your dire circumstances, the tooth fairy might be willing to make an exception and lend out a helping hand. But you will have to provide instruction - she is much better at flossing and that sort of thing.
That's just bizzare! I've seen bracket mushrooms growing through the wall, but one like that?!?
It's the sort of thing that fruits annually, but the mycelia are growing year 'round in the wood underneath.
I'd at least snip the head off before it goes to spore if you haven't already.
That is so wrong.
