Bugger It!

Remember how I was boasting back in May about knowing exactly which tile I needed to bust in order to fix the plumbing behind the shower? Well you had better not depend on me to find buried treasure using a treasure map.

I'll go bang my head against the wall now......

Next week we will get the water turned back on and I can find out where the rest of the leaks are!

Awwwwwwww. But what fun would DIY life be if something actually went as planned? Where's the challenge in that?

This way you'll get another good war story - something like how you had to tear out 18 beautiful tiles on a 90-degree day with nothing but a flathead screwdriver to pry them off with. And when you opened the wall up, a family of rats crawled out and started chewing on your toes while you tried desperately to fix the leak before they moved upwards. But it was all worth it....

So sorry to hear about your setback. I've been reading your blog for a while, and enjoy it. Don't know if you have time or are interested, but I'm tagging you for the 8 Random Facts game :)
If you want to play, just list 8 random things about yourself in a post.

Good luck!
