I have to rebuild my chimneys for the last few feet above the roof line. Are you finding it difficult or not too bad? I'll also be using steel flex pipe liner and a stove at the other end. ;) I considered tuck pointing (extensively) the one chimney in the center of the house - I haven't decided yet... I think your chimney looks good!
This hasn't been too bad but my roof top is quite shallow. If the roof were steep I wouldn't be as eager! I have had to build it about 8 rows at a time because I need to lean on the chimney to put some bricks in place. If I tried to rebuild it all in one day there would be stability issues!
